Maintaining a healthy prostate will help avoid: frequent urination, especially during the evening; difficulty in starting the urinary stream; a continued feeling of fullness after urinating; weak or interrupted urinary stream; pain or discomfort while urinating or ejaculating. Some scientific evidence suggests that consumption of selenium may reduce the risk of certain forms of cancer. However, the FDA has determined that this evidence is limited and not conclusive.
